A taxi driver suffered a heart attack and died after crashing into a communication pole today, September 22, at 11:00 a.m. in the Yangon Region. According to the Pearl Auxiliary Fire Brigade, the incident occurred within the Zey Kabar Win area of Mingaladon Township.
The 62-year-old taxi driver suffered a heart attack, crashing into a roadside communication pole, and died at the scene. The report was dispatched to the Pearl Reserve Fire Brigade Station, and the deceased’s body was transported to Maydhawi Hospital.
Probox Taxi is located in Yangon Industrial Zone (1) in Zey Kabar Win. While driving along R(2) road, he suddenly had a heart attack between R(5) and R(6) roads. The passengers in the taxi were not injured.
Those who died due to this incident are Yangon Region, Shwe Paokkan Township, (12) U Maung Maung Win from the neighbourhood.
“Lost control of the car, and it fell to the side of the road and hit a communication pole. He has a heart problem,” a social worker who assisted told MT News.
