According to a statement from the Norwegian Embassy in Myanmar, Norway has initially provided $500,000 for flood relief operations. Norway cooperated with donors of UNOPS and said that the donation is to carry out relief work in Myanmar’s flood-affected communities as soon as possible. The Norwegian Red Cross and partner organizations will provide equipment, supplies, food and purified water, including basic medicines and emergency relief supplies through the Myanmar Red Cross. #mtnewsagency #flood
