According to a press release from the Ministry of Information, nearly 650,000 acres of agricultural land has been submerged due to flooding in Myanmar. Due to the flooding, from Nay Pyi Taw, Bago, Mandalay, Magway, Shan state, Karen State and Irrawaddy division agricultural land of 84 township nearly 650,000 acres were flooded. In addition, technology and assistance will be provided so that seasonal crops can be replanted in time on the damaged agricultural lands.
