Paukphaw Forum meeting with the title of “New Opportunities for Development and Cooperation of Myanmar-China that may appear from the 20th Chinese Communist Party Congress” was held at Wyndham Grand Hotel in Yangon on 4 November.
The forum was held by Chinese Embassy to Myanmar and Chinese Ambassador Mr. Chen Hai and Chairman of Myanmar Institute Strategic and International Studies (MISIS) U Thant Kyaw delivered the opening remarks in connection with new opportunities for the development and cooperation of Myanmar-China at the forum.
As individual discusses in relevant titles, Senior Advisor of MISIS Dr. Naing Swe Oo, Founder and Executive Director of Thayninga Institute for Strategic Studies on opinions from the side of Myanmar regarding the 20th Chinese Communist Party Congress, Chairman of Myanmar Rice Federation U Ye Min Aung on economic issues, Central Member of USDP Dr. Nay Lin on sustainable development and cooperation between the two countries and facts discussed at the 20th Chinese Communist Party Congress, Chairman of Yangon Media Group U Ko Ko on points that must change in social and cultural sectors between two countries.
Present at the forum were officials from Chinese Embassy in Myanmar, China-Myanmar Friendship Association, invited guests and medias.
