The Myanmar government has consistently prioritized the welfare of its citizens, making concerted efforts to assist those facing difficulties abroad. By collaborating with the Myanmar Consulate-General and relevant embassies, the government works to ensure their safe return to Myanmar.
In a recent case, the Myanmar Consulate-General facilitated the repatriation of Ma Thwe Thwe Win, a Myanmar national who encountered hardships in Dubai. The consulate worked with the UAE Ministry of Immigration and Human Resources and other relevant departments to secure an exit permit. Ma Thwe Thwe Win arrived back in Yangon at 10:40 pm on 11 September.
Both the returnee and her family expressed their gratitude to the government, the Myanmar Embassy, and the Myanmar Consulate-General for their support.
