Myanmar MAI Airlines will resume flights with Russia between Yangon – Mandalay – and Novosibirsk on October 9.
The airline plans to operate direct flights with Moscow, the capital of Russia, in 2025. Alexander Shakhanazarova, an airline official in Russia, said, “On September 6 last year, we started connecting flights with Novosibirsk, a city in Russia. Flights between Yangon – Mandalay – Novosibirsk will resume on October 9. The planning of those flights will resume from Novosibirsk to Yangon twice a week. Departures from Novosibirsk are scheduled for Wednesdays and Sundays at 00:10 and from Myanmar on Tuesdays and Saturdays.”
These flights will be operated by Airbus A319/A320 aircr with 105 seats. Between September and April last year, 2,500 passengers were transported by air between Myanmar and Russia.
