About 53,972 people were affected and 10 people died due to the flood

According to the Myanmar Fire Department, 53,972 people have been affected and 10 people have died in the flood caused by the incessant rain.

Due to heavy rain, (15113) households, Male (23995) andWomen (29977), a total of (53,972) were affected by the flood from the wards/villages located in Yamethin town, Mandalay Region.

According to initial reports, a total of 10 people (died); one man from Segyi Village, one woman from Nyaung Ai village, two men and four women from Kantha Aye village, one woman from Shwe Nang Pao village, one woman from Chaung Thim Village during the flood.

Due to the low cell of Storm Ragi, Floods are occurring in towns and villages in Shan State, Karen State and Mon State, and villages in Tatkon township, the Nay Pyi Taw Council area are also trapped. It is also reported that there are many people who have lost their homes and have not been able to rescue them since last night.
