According to the trustees of KyaiktiYo Pagoda, since the opening ceremony of Kyaiktiyo mountain will be held during the coming October solstice, the necessary preparations are underway.
The Pagoda Board of Trustees estimates that the public holiday period is from October 16th to 18th, and since Saturdays and Sundays are closed, more pilgrims may come.
Currently, preparations are being made for the opening of the Kyaiktiyo Pagoda mountain, including the repositioning of the mountain climbing vehicles, the fitness of the vehicles, the cleaning of the shop rows, and the relocation of the shops.
