9 September 2024

While the MNDAA announced that the war was over for the city of Lashio, which was occupied in the 1027 operation part (2) that the three northern armed groups have been waging from last June 25 until now, and the rehabilitation is underway, three MNDAA leaders and more than 40 members of MNDAA were killed in an airstrike yesterday morning is spreading out an audio file.

The attack began at 4:00 a.m. today, September 8, and 2 bombs were dropped on Lashio from the air, according to MNDAA’s Kokant media. At 4:30 a.m. and 4:08 a.m., a series of bombs exploded near the Silver Sky Hotel near Ward (12) gymnasium and hot spring. In the MNDAA’s statement, 19 cars were damaged in Ward (12) sports hall, of which people’s cars and motorcycles were not returned. Silver Sky Hotel also damaged the building, but no one was hurt.

But in the audio file listening to MT News, more than 30 MNDAA soldiers were killed in Ward (12) sports hall where MNDAA looted cars and motorcycles, and at the Silver Sky Hotel, three top MNDAA leaders and 15 members of MNDAA who were providing security for them were killed. It is also said that these bodies were immediately buried in the cemetery on the side of the bypass exiting Namtu.

The PDFs and the armed forces that are occupying the territory, including the MNDAA, are afraid that the young armed men who trust and support them will lose their morale; every time a soldier dies, only the deaths of those who can receive donations are usually announced. As the dead bodies are picked up and hidden immediately so that no evidence remains on the battlefield, MT News could not confirm this death of MNDAA but only reported it through the audio file.
