Liquid opium and opium leaves were confiscated in Tachilek.

Early in the morning, liquid opium and opium leaves were seized from three men, including one Thai citizen, according to the Tachilek City Police, occurred on September 7 at a house on (2) Street in Mekong Ward, Tachilek City, Shan State (East).

As it was reported that liquid opium and opium leaves were being sold in a house in Mekong Ward (2), a joint team comprising Tachileik District Police and officials from Tachileik District searched and discovered Thai nationals Pisit (b) Porntha Wonsuk and Sai Tun Hla, along with Sai Swe Aung, who were found in possession of liquid opium leaves and opium leaves.
