Myanma Post, under the Ministry of Transport and Communications, will issue a new 200-kyat postage stamp featuring the ‘Blue Pansy’ butterfly, a species native to Myanmar and recorded by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation. The stamp will be released on 9 September 2024.
Therefore, the new stamp will be available for purchase from 9:30 a.m. on 9 September at the Central Post Office in Nay Pyi Taw, the General Post Offices in Yangon and Mandalay, and other post offices across each region and state.
As part of a special programme, postage stamps purchased on 9 September at the Central Post Office in Nay Pyi Taw and the General Post Offices in Yangon and Mandalay will feature a particular date marking to commemorate the event.
