The Shwe Tan Myae People’s Defense Force, a PDF group, has announced that U Htay Naing, the administrator of the Pyin Ka Tone group, was killed on September 1 at approximately 11:00 p.m. in Lepadan Township, Tharayawadi District, Bago Region.
Killing U Htay Naing occurred because he is the leader of Pyuu Saw Hti, involved in gambling and making money. He profited from a drug-related cannabis plantation and asked for money from the people claiming to be in the military. He was killed due to a public complaint; however, the Lepadan PDF provided an excuse. MT News cannot verify the truth of these allegations, and the Lepadan PDF has not presented any evidence.
Bago province is a region where numerous governors and civilians have been killed, with very few arrests made. Over 90 monks, the district administrator, and teachers, along with approximately 8,000 individuals, including around 1,200 civil servants, were killed by the NLD, NUG, PDF, and EAOs, labeled as “Dalan, spies and accused of supporting the SAC system”.
