Sagaing region, on the Monywa-Mandalay highway in Myinmu Township, PDFs attacked a NanHtike Yadana passenger bus with small weapons and fired at a mine countermeasure, injuring 3 people, including the driver.
In the event, on September 3, the NanHtike Yadanar passenger bus, which runs between Monywa and Yangon, left Monywa to Yangon with 24 passengers. At around 5:10 p.m. in the evening, near milepost No. 52, mile 2 furlongs west of Myinmu Township, the PDF group stopped the bus and fired all around while driving without stopping. In addition, the PDFs who were guarding the Mandalay-Mongywa highway near mile marker 51 mile 1 furlong detonated a hand-made mine. The driver was injured by broken glass, a 27-year-old female passenger suffered 3 bullet wounds and a 62-year-old man suffered 1 mine injury and was sent to Myinmu Hospital.
During this incident, the PDF who fired at NanHtike Yadana’s bus stopped it on the Monywa – Mandalay road, but it did not stop, even though they fired, a PDF that shot at NanHtike Yadana’s bus confessed on social networks.
