Hopong and Hsihseng townships in Pa-O Self-Administered Zone of Shan State (South) have suffered from impacts of loss and damage in terror acts of PNLO, KNDF and PDF terrorists which steadfastly commit subversive acts with attacks in towns and villages where local national races reside, dropping bombs on religious buildings and schools and firing on these areas with heavy weapons but they chant doing good deeds for development of the regions.

But, Hsihseng region where innocent Pa-O national races have been residing in successive eras peacefully faced loss and damage in naughty terror acts of opportunist PNLO terrorists. Nobody should stop development tasks for a region or acountry and they have to march forwards and work steadfastly.
If they stop they will lag behind development. Emphasizing rehabilitation for damaged structures causes a delay to carry out development tasks. Only residents can undertake peaceful and stable measures as well as development of the region. Likewise, residents also commit attempts to cause instability and to delay development tasks of the region. As such, residents have to cooperate with depart mental staff, administrative bodies and security forces in ensuring peace and stability, rule of law and development undertakings for the sake of their region. They have to widen their scope for the sake of the region and bring about their process with positive attitudes.
The Senior General urged departmental staff to promote the socio-economic development of the region, focusing on education and health. He emphasized that regional progress depends on improving local skills and knowledge, encouraging residents to pursue education. He also stated that the government and the Tatmadaw will restore villages, including Hsihseng town, damaged by terrorists, and called on local people to actively participate.
The Senior General warned that stagnation is detrimental to both the region and the country, urging everyone to make a concerted effort to achieve development, stability, and peace.
After that, the Senior General, provided food and supplies for the local military personnel and family members, local people, militia (local) members and they were received by the representatives. After that, the Senior General and members greeted departmental officials from Hsihseng town, local military personnel and family members, members of Myanmar Police Force, militia (local) forces, city leaders and officials cordially.
Hsihseng town, located 3,310 feet above sea level in the Pa-O Self-Administered Zone, is bordered by Hopong Township to the north, Maukmai Township to the east, Kayah State to the south, and Pekhon, Nyaungshwe, and Taunggyi townships to the west. It is predominantly inhabited by the Pa-O people, who have traditionally lived and worked there peacefully. However, the PNLO terrorist group, influenced by the KNDF and PDF terrorist groups, disrupted the region’s stability, affecting the socio-economic lives of the local people and carrying out acts of violence against the Pa-O ethnic community. In response, with the cooperation of nearly all villagers from the surrounding areas, the Tatmadaw and local militia forces successfully regained control of the Hsihseng area from the terrorists. The government and the Tatmadaw are now actively engaged in rehabilitation efforts, and the displaced ethnic residents are returning to their homes, resuming their peaceful lives and work.
