Myanmar Embassy in Singapore will provide 420 passport extensions in September’s first week

According to statistics released by the Myanmar Embassy in Singapore, passport extension services will be expanded for 420 people in the first week of September.

It is scheduled for 84 people on 2 September, another 84 people on 3 September, 86 people on 4 September, 83 people on 5 September, and further 83 people on 6 September, according to the embassy’s list of approved persons for passport extensions.

In August, the embassy announced weekly the list of approved persons (200-300). Applicants can visit the embassy between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. with an original passport and original Identity Card (IC), a copy of the passport data page and copies of the front and back of the IC, an extension form, and a license photo.

The embassy said that to request an appointment date, PRs, EPs, SPs, and Long-Term Pass ID holders can contact WhatsApp number +6581748993, and WPs and Student Pass holders can contact WhatsApp number +6582468581, along with the first page of their passport and the front and back pages of their IDs. It added that applicants may check their names on the list of approved people published every Friday.

People aged 65 and older do not need to seek an appointment date and will be considered a priority, and those in an emergency can apply for a walk-in and show up in the morning.
