According to the Myanmar Fire Brigade, a vehicle accident occurred at Maitai No. (311/6) Farlong on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway at about 6:00 a.m. today, September 2, and 1 person was killed and 9 others were injured.
In the incident, the Express bus, which was driving from Yangon to Mandalay, carrying 25 people and various goods, including oil, overturned at milepost No. (311/6) furlong.
It is reported that 1 fire-fighting vehicle from Pyin Si Expressway Fire Station and members of the Fire Brigade went to search and rescue the accident. Among the 8 men, 17 women, and 25 people in the vehicle, one man died, 2 men were injured (not critical), and 7 women were injured (not critical).
