An old man living in HninSi Kone Nursing Home was hit by a car while crossing the road and died while being taken to the hospital.
The incident took place on Kaba Aye Pagoda Road, and the victim was U Hla Shwe, a resident of HninSi Kone Nursing Home. The Shwegon Yate Mon Social Assistance Association said that while crossing the road in front of Family Karaoke at the Shwe Gon Tai Bridge, a Honda Fit vehicle that was coming off the overpass collided with it.
The social assistance association was able to transport the patient to the emergency department of Yangon Hospital in time, but he died at around 8pm while receiving treatment.
