An official of Myanmar International Airlines (MAI) confirmed to MT News that it is not true that MAI Airlines’ ticket office in Mandalay will be closed from September 1.
There are propaganda and false reports, that MAI’s Mandalay ticket office will be closed from September 1 due to the possibility of Mandalay being attacked by armed terrorists and some other private companies are preparing to leave Mandalay, in the evening of August 29 (yesterday).
“We will make an official announcement on MAI’s Facebook. That’s not the truth news. There is an office to buy tickets. You can go and buy as you were buying before,” said the official of MAI Airlines.
