One PDF was killed and six others injured because of the air attack when a NUG-affiliated PDF clinic was opened by an army camp in the school of Zolang village, near Sawbwa Rashin village, Sagaing Division Kalay City yesterday, August 27.
PDFs are based at schools with large spaces, sturdy brick walls, monasteries, and pagodas for protection. When suppressing PDFs, educational and religious sites are inevitably affected, and the NUG clinic, which serves as the current school base, was bombed yesterday afternoon around 3 o’clock.
“It was targeted due to its information. This clinic has relocated because it has faced attacks previously, and now a bomb has been dropped directly at the site,” a member of the local defense forces familiar with the incident told MT News.
Concerning this incident, which was struck by an airstrike due to the school being attacked because PDF opened the clinic in that school, the NUG side has not released any news, and MT News is still investigating.
