PDFs killed six people in one day.

Ministry of Interior The Myanmar Police announced today that the head of ten houses, the governor, and a forester from the Forestry Department, along with six men and women, were killed by PDFs in a single day.
Two men were shot dead in Nakha Ward, Moenyin Township, Kachin State, at 6:20 a.m. on August 25, 2024.

According to the news, when the security forces went to investigate, Ko Kyaw Khaing Soe (b) Kyaw Khin Soe (35) and Ko Bauk Naw (37) (a forester from the Forestry Department) were together at the home of Ko Kyaw Khaing Soe (b) Kyaw Khin Soe. Then, the PDF team (strength still being verified) arrived and shot them, resulting in two fatalities from gunshot wounds.

Similarly, U Myint Tin (67) from U Than Tun Site Village was home when six PDFs (still being verified) arrived. He was shot and killed with guns and died from both bullet and knife wounds on August 25 at 12:05 p.m. in Bago Region, Kyopingoke Township.

Also, At 12:50 p.m., in Patheingyi Township of Mandalay Region, Daw Aye Aye Aung (42), a resident of Bent Tin Village, was at home alone when two PDFs (still under investigation) arrived on a motorcycle and fatally stabbed her with knives resulting in her death from the wounds.

Also, At 3:45 in the afternoon, in Gwae Nyo Win village of Ma Hlaing Township, Mandalay Region, reports indicated that a man was shot dead, prompting an investigation by security forces. U Win Aung (55), the village head, was at home when four individuals from the PDF (under investigation) arrived on two motorcycles and shot him. He succumbed to his bullet wounds.

At 9:00 p.m. that day, similar to the earlier events, in Thetlal village of Sidoktaya Township, Magway Region, reports emerged of a man being shot and killed. Security forces arrived to investigate and found U Thein Shwe (56), a village group administrator, at his daughter Daw Tin Tin Hta’s home. The PDF team (whose forces are still verified) arrived and shot him. U Thein Shwe died from bullet wounds. The perpetrators of these incidents are currently being arrested and prosecuted.
