According to U Than Myint Tun, the administrator of Yangon Zoo (Yangon), there are around 3,000 visitors per day during public holidays.
“This is the rainy season as well as school opening season, so on normal days there are about 500 visitors a day. On Saturdays and Sundays, around 3,000 visitors a day,” U Than Myint Tun said.
In the zoo (Yangon), there are 69 species of birds, 42 species of mammals, and 19 species of reptiles, with a total of 130 species and more than 1,360 animals.
If you visit the zoo (Yangon), the entrance fee is 2,500 kyats per adult, 1,500 kyats per child over the age of two, 7,000 kyats per adult foreigner, and 5,000 kyats per foreigner child.
Animal Show (Animal Show) was previously shown in the Zoo (Yangon), but currently Keeper Talks are being held every day in order for visitors to the Zoo (Yangon) to gain knowledge.
