UEC replied that they are already working on the appointment of election commission members from the union territory level to the district/village level

Union Territory region state Autonomous region district Township The Union Election Commission responded today that they are planning to appoint election commission members at the ward and village levels.

The Union Election Commission responded as above to the media’s question about when the commission members will be appointed and start operating in the regional state, district, township and ward/village election commission offices.

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, chairman of (SAC), said yesterday when Mandalay Region government members met with regional and district level officials that the election will continue as soon as the census begins in October and the results are announced.

In addition, the SAC chairman said that a free and fair multi-party democratic general election will be held in the coming year 2025.
