Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by SAC member Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye, Commander in-Chief (Navy) Vice-Admiral Htein Win, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, Union level dignitaries, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and officials, inspected progress in restoring peace and stability in the area of the Southern Command this afternoon.
At the meeting hall of the Southern Command Headquarters, Commander Maj-Gen Kyi Thaik reported on subversive acts of some EAOs and PDF terrorists with attempts to deteriorate peace and stability in the area of Southern Command, their terror acts of blowing up communication routes, bridges and railways being used by the people, and efforts of Tatmadaw and Myanmar Police Force members in taking security measures for ensuring peace and stability of the region.
In his response to the reports, the Senior General underlined that security measures must be taken systematically for ensuring public security and restoring peace and stability of the region. It is necessary to take security measures systematically to ensure public security and peace and stability of the region. The Senior General stressed the need to consider implementation of the long-term plan in restoring peace and stability of the region and secure and smooth transportation measures. On the occasion, the Senior General gave necessary guidance on local security, peace and stability of the region.
At the Tatmadaw hospital in Taungoo, the Senior General comforted officers, other ranks and members of Myanmar Police Force receiving medical treatments for their injuries suffered in serving de fence and security duties of the State.
In consoling them, the Senior General asked about conditions of officers, other ranks and MPF members who were injured in serving the defence and security duties of the State and asked after their health conditions and healing of injuries individually and fulfilled their needs.
After cordially conversing with them, the Senior General presented cash awards and gifts to officers and other ranks and MPF members.
After asking requirements at the hospital, the Senior General attended to the needs.
