During the raids, the four KRF members who were killing pilgrims, monks, and the elderly died and the two were DVB journalists and freelance journalists. KRF confirmed that two journalists were among the dead.

That accident occurred in Letpya village, KyaiktoTownship, around 9 am on September 21. The raid was conducted following reports that KRF troops were present at a house in Letpya village, and four KRF members were killed in a raid by the security forces.

About that case, the DVB news agency also confirmed that DVB’s CJ reporter and a freelance journalist were among the four killed when the KRF troops were raided. The news media remarked that it was only a form of communication with KRF members on the question of why the DVB reporter and the freelancer were together with the KRF members who killed pilgrims, monks, and monks.

KRF was established on September 13, 2021, and in their 2nd-anniversary message, they destroyed more than 100 roads and bridges, killed more than 160 people, and injured more than 150 people.
