Village Administrator of Chanung Kaung was killed by the Paungde PDF

Despite the fact that the PDF in the Bago region mainly targets and kills administrators, there are hardly any inspections. Recently, the village administrator of Chaung Kaung, Pukkaung Township,
was killed by two members of a gang PDF group.
It occurred in Bago, Pyay District, Paukkaung Township, where the governor of Chaung Kaung Village reported that U Nyunt Naing (b), Kayak Do, was shot and killed on the spot at his home. U Nyunt Naing (b) Kyauk Do was shot and killed by the (3601) PDF Battalion, Company (3) of the Pyay District People’s Defense Army and Pauk Kaung (Pa Ka Fa) on August 20th at around 5:30 pm.
U Nyunt Naing collaborated with the security forces and summoned the villagers to enlist in the army, demanding their money. Although the Paung Tae PDF’s statement dated August 22nd claims he was killed for serving as a full-time assistant in drawing Porter for the military, MT News cannot verify the accuracy of these assertions.
Bago region is a province where many governors and civilians were killed, with over 230 children losing their lives from the start of the Spring Revolution until the end of July 2024. More than 90 monks,the teachers, the district administrator, and around 8,000 individuals, including approximately 1,200 civil servants, have been killed by NLD, NUG, PDF, and EAOs, accused of being the ones who enabled the SAC system to operate.
