An official from Myanmar Commercial Bank Head Office (Nay Pyi Taw) confirmed to MT News that 30,000 kyats of additional allowance for retirees has been issued at Myanmar Commercial Bank branches.
In order to ensure the living comfort of state employees who are carrying out the duties of the state within the state and the military (army, navy, and air force) employees, they were allowed to enjoy a monthly allowance of 30,000 kyats per month as an additional allowance in addition to the current salary, starting from October 2023.
In addition, to the current monthly allowance of 30,000 kyats, additional allowances of 30,000 kyats were also granted to retired civil servants who are receiving pensions, 30,000 kyats per month starting from August 1st.
