On the expressway, a passenger car from Royal Tun Line caught fire due to overheating of the rear wheel

According to the highway fire department, a passenger car caught fire at 3:30 a.m. on August 17 between milepost 143/7 furlong and 143/6 furlong on the Nay Pyi Taw-Rangoon expressway.

According to the inspectors, the Royal Tun passenger car, which was driving from Nay Pyi Taw to Yangon with bags of djenkol bean , was completely destroyed by fire.

“When the car caught fire, the people following the car still put out the fire with buckets of fire extinguishers. Because the fire did not go out, the driver and the person following the car left the car and ran away,” said a firefighter.

Firefighters from the Bodhigone Expressway fire station went to put out the fire in a passenger car, and the fire was extinguished after about 20 minutes.

As a result of the fire, U Khin Zaw, the driver of the Express passenger car, has been opened a case under Section 285/202 at the Zee Pintha Police Station.
