Local and foreign news media and the Telegram news agencys close to the Tatmadaw have reported that three lieutenant generals, have been promoted to the rank of general.
Among the news that three Lt. Generals have been promoted, Lt. Gen. Aung Lin Dway, who was recently reported to have been involved in a coup among NUG supporters, is included. Most of the news media, including the BBC, are writing that Lt. Gen. Ye Win Oo and Lt. Gen. Nyo Saw have been promoted to the rank of generals.
DSA (25) Intake Lt. Gen. Aung Lin Dway is the current secretary of the SAC cabinet, and served together with Senior General Min Aung Hlaing in DSA. Lieutenant General Ye Win Oo is the Chief Military Affairs Security Officer from the OTS(77) Intake and is the Joint Secretary of the SAC Cabinet. Lt. Gen. Nyo Saw from the DSA (23) intake, is also an advisor to the Chief of Defense Staff and a member of the SAC government.
