State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives delegation led by H.E. Mr. Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China at the Credential Hall of the Office of SAC Chairman in Nay Pyi Taw this evening.
Present together with the Senior General were SAC Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, Union Minister for the Ministry of the State Administration Council Chairman’s Office (2) U Ko Ko Hlaing, Deputy Minister of Information General Zaw Min Tun and officials. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China was accompanied by the delegation members.
At the call, Chairman of SAC said that on friendship and diplomatic relations between the two countries, which will reach the 75th anniversary of the diamond jubilee in 2025, Myanmar’s internal peace, peace and stability in border areas, cooperative undertakings of the two countries to eliminate online gambling, online frauds, other types of financial frauds and illegal businesses, SAC’s implementation of the adopted objectives and roadmap for national peace, stability and development, and preparations to hold a free and fair multi-party general election.
After that, the Chinese Foreign Minister said that Myanmar is a good neighbor of China. China strongly supports Myanmar’s independence and sovereignty. He also expressed his support for the State Administration Council’s implementation of the five roadmap for the country’s stability and development and preparations for holding a free and fair multi-party democratic general election. He said that China is cooperating closely for Myanmar’s stability and peace. Regarding the attacks on villages by EAO groups in northern Shan State, China also expressed its opposition, it is reported.
