4.08MW floating solar power plant to be constructed at Kandaw Mingala Lake in Myeik

According to the Taninthayi Region government, the 4.08 megawatts floating solar power plant will be constructed by Myanmar Solar Power Trading Co. Ltd. near Kandaw Mingala Lake, which covers 21.64 acres, in Myitnge Ward of Myeik Township,Taninthayi Region.

Located nearby a high school, a primary school, monasteries, and other places of worship, the lake is a superb place to live, and it was excavated again in 2018.

There will be 7,488 solar panels and 16 inverters installed in the floating solar power plant construction project to generate 4.08 megawatts of solar energy.
