A person close to Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s bodyguard Cherry Htet will be released on August 19, a close community confirmed.
On the social network was writing that Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s bodyguard Cherry Htet is was released on August 9th, so MT News contacted the lawyer handling her case and confirmed that it is not true and that there are still days before she is released.
It is also reported that Cherry Htet was sentenced to 3 years in prison by police discipline in January 2022. On March 31, 2022, she was sentenced to 2 years in prison for a total of 5 years under Section 505-A of the Penal Code.
