The Department of Archaeology and National Museum has announced that a special exhibition will take place at the Bogyoke Aung San Museum in Bahan Township, Yangon Region, on the 77th Martyrs’ Day.

As in previous years, Bogyoke Aung San Museum’s exhibition will feature a variety of displays, including boards along the museum’s path, a virtual tour of Bogyoke Aung San’s house, architectural designs, photos of items from his bureaus via a mobile app, and 3D holographic fans for Bogyoke Aung San’s speeches. Visitors can also access photographs of special events every year via touch screens.

Martyrs’ Day preparations involve clearing undergrowth and weeds, landscaping, gardening, and arranging healthcare for visitors to the museum, managed by the Yangon City and Development Committee (YCDC).

From May 1945 until July 19, 1947, Bogyoke Aung San and his family lived at the Bogyoke Aung San Museum, which was built in 1921 in the 20th-century European style on an oval-shaped 2.423-acre plot.
