It is reported that a student girl was bitten under the right eye by a dog that was being fed at Sagaing Taung Aung Myay Oo Monastery in Sagaing City, Sagaing Region.
The incident took place on June 18 at around 10:00 p.m. A monk at Aung Myay Oo Monastery called the Obo Health and Rescue Association to report that a child had been bitten by a dog and went to the scene to help.
“The child is studying at that monastery. The dog in the school bit her. She was vaccinated,” an official from the Obo Health and Rescue Association told MT News.
It is reported that 12-year-old Ma Phway Phway Aung, who was bitten by a dog, was taken to the OPD of Mandalay Hospital and then returned to Aung Myay Oo School for medical treatment.
