The 2024-25 academic year of the National Football Academy (Yangon) and Myanmar Football Academy (Mandalay), which provide free basic football education and school education, has been opened today.
A meeting between parents/teachers and students of the Myanmar Football Academy (Mandalay) was held on May 30, and Myanmar Football Federation President U Zaw Zaw and executive members had a friendly meeting with parents, teachers and students.
A total of 84 students will attend the 2024-25 academic year of the National Football Academy (Yangon) and will take classes at the relevant elementary schools. The Ayeyawaddy Foundation has donated and supported the daily nutrition of the students, and they will be nurtured by the responsible levels to have fitness and excellence in football.
As students, after completing the academy education, depending on the efforts and excellence of each individual, they will have the opportunity to play as professional players in local and foreign clubs, as well as Myanmar national teams and the Myanmar national team.
In addition, those with excellent education, if they retire from football, they can become professional coaches, and in the field of football, they can make careers in the field of competition, administration, referee work, sports business and academic fields, according to their skills and expertise.
