The Information Team of the State Administration Council (SAC) announced today that 4 more terrorists who planned to attack with 107 mm shock missiles at the opening ceremony of Thanlyin Bridge No. 3, attended by the SAC chairman, were arrested, and the person behind it was NUG Defense Minister Yee Mon (Maung Tin Nyu).
2024, On the morning of June 8th, during the opening ceremony of Thanlyin Bridge No. 3 in Yangon Region, the terrorists who planned to fire and attack with 107 mm shock missiles with the aim of harming and killing innocent people, Including terrorists Cho Gyi (B) Hein Chet Aung, 8 males and 1 female and seized three 107 mm shock missiles, three fuses, two grenades, two batteries, four wire coils, and other related items, the news of the seizure was reported on June 10.
Based on the confessions of the detainees, the Dark Shadow terrorist group carried out 2 terrorist explosions in Yangon by ordered Yee Mon, defendant Ye Zaw Tun (b) Phoenix, who went to detonate 2 hand-made mines in front of the electricity office of Mingala Taungnyunt Township in December, 2021and 2 defendants Zaw Gyi (B) Ko Htet and Shein Myint Moh Aung (B) Ko Shein, were shot and blown up with 2 grenades to the police outpost of Hlaingthaya Township, in April (second week), 2024.
Therefore, the relevant authorities will continue to take effective action against those who planned the explosion in a public area, and the public is urged to help combat terrorists who plot acts of terror. Authorities encourage individuals with information about terrorists’ hiding places, movements, and residences to report confidentially to relevant authorities for swift arrest of those involved in criminal activities and those supporting them. Authorities will issue a press release to inform that whistleblowers and arrestees will be duly rewarded, and they call on the entire populace to cooperate in restoring peace and stability to towns and villages as soon as possible.
