According to the press release of SAC, on june 11 there was discussed cooperation in the pharmaceutical production sector between the Myanmar and Sri lanka in Nay Pyi Taw. Ambassador-Designate of Sri Lanka to Myanmar H.E.Mrs. Ponnamperuma Arachige Prabashini Ponnamperuma presented his Credentials to Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing at the parlour of the Credential Hall of the Office of the Chairman of the State Administration Council in Nay Pyi Taw.
They cordially discussed bilateral friendly relations and diplomatic relations, learning of members of the Sangha and nuns from Myanmar in Sri Lanka, offering of religious titles to venerable members of the Sangha from Sri Lanka, cooperation in development of tourism industry, enhancement of bilateral trade, cooperation in agriculture and pharmaceutical production, and promotion of cooperation in defence sector.
