According to the Department of Archaeology and National Museum, the Inwa gate, Theindi gate, and moats of the ancient Hanthawady city are under preservation for public observation in Bago Region.

The Bago Region Government manages the preservation effort jointly with the Department of Archaeology and National Museum, which is funded by the Bago Region Government.

Additionally, the ancient royal buildings of Kanbawzathadi Palace, as well as the statues of King Anawrahta, King Bayintnaung, and King Alaungphaya, and along with their palaces, are on display for public viewing and enjoyment.

Similarly, it has been reported that the Department of Buildings’ special task force-3 under the Ministry of Construction is overseeing the construction, large-scale maintenance, and repair of the Myaynan Tier-roofed building in Kambawzathadi Palace.
