In the last month, more than 5,000 foreign pilgrims have visited the Shwedagon Pagoda, according to the organization of the Pagoda. The most of tourists are Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese citizens and another tourists are came from America, Europeans and Africans also visited. Therefore, the number of foreign tourists visiting the Pagoda is around 150 people per day, and during the month of May, 5,291 foreign tourists visited the Shwedagon Pagoda.
