According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Myanmar Embassy in Brasilia participated in a Food and Cultural Bazaar organized by the GCCM (Group of Heads of Mission Spouses). The event was held on 1 June in Brasilia, Brazil.
The bazaar was participated by 50 other embassies and missions, including Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam.
Guests were presented with pamphlets in Portuguese about Myanmar tourist destinations by the Myanmar ambassador, his wife, and embassy staff.
The report states that the GCCM will donate the proceeds from the bazaar to homeless older people, orphanages, people experiencing poverty, and those in need and charities supporting disabled people.
