25 political parties, including the Union Solidarity and Development Party, have issued a statement condemning the actions of PDFs who are targeting and killing schoolchildren.
On June 4, 2024, CRPH NUG and their political extremists deliberately fired at a vehicle carrying students who were going to school in Dawei, Tanintharyi Region, near Pyin SaThimaw Village, Longlong Township, at about 7:15 in the morning.
In addition, on June 4, 2024, at approximately 12:40 in the afternoon, one (1) young student was killed and a total of (25) injured students and innocent people were injured as a result of a bomb blast that fired PDFs at a basic education primary school in Dawei City’s Gajiyon Pyun Ward.
Similarly, in the past months, terrorist armed organizations have been carrying out acts of brutality, such as brutally killing innocent education workers, bombing and destroying schools, kidnapping, obstructing and threatening the process of education and schooling. The statements of the political parties stated that they strongly condemn and oppose these acts of terrorism.
