A female police officer, Kaythi Khain on duty at the Police Headquarters of Nyaunglebin District , was ambushed and killed by the 9 Stars UG Bago group, which is a PDF group.
The killing happened on 3rd June at an estimated 8:50 am., a female police officer, Kaythi Khaing came out of Thama village where she lives. 9 Stars UG Bago PDFs were shot from behind on a motorcycle and hit by two bullets in the back and one bullet in the head and died on the spot.
Police officer Kaythi Khaing’s husband is also a police on duty at the Police Station of Daik-U township. Although 9 Stars UG Bago gave a reason that police officer Kaythi Khaing was killed by illegally confiscating together with her superiors more than 500 acres of Jopin and Thama Village, ” this incident is not true, but the police officers and those close to Nyaunglebin Police denied it” and the PDFs killed 2 lives at the same time because female police officer Kethi Kung was more than four months pregnant, it is reported.
