It is known that the unethical media outlets are spreading the fake news claiming that the security forces burnt and destroyed the villages of Kanpyin in Sittway Township, Rakhine State on the evening of 1 June.
In Sittway Township, a security official reported that the security forces only took security measures for the Byinephyu village and its surroundings on 30 May, but did not do so for other villages.
The malicious media is hiding the terror actions of AA terrorists, such as attacking towns and villages with heavy weapons, burning villages. The fake news on social media platforms also aims to create misunderstandings between the local people and the security forces.
