Thura Oo Tin Oo, former Chief of Defense and patron of the NLD Party, who passed away at 8:45 a.m. on June 1st, will be buried at Reway Cemetery on June 5th at 4:00 p.m.
For those who want to accompany U Tin Oo’s funeral procession, the cars will leave from house No. 30, Thanlwin Road, Bahan Township, at 1:00 p.m. The ceremony that offered to the invited monks on the seventh day of a person’s death, will be held on June 7 from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Thura Oo Tin Oo served as the Chief of Defense Staff from March 1974 to March 1976. He was 98 years old when he passed away.
