According to people close to the police, a car theft group consisting of four men was caught on May 27, chasing and stealing cars from homes in Taunggyi City, Southern Shan State.
According to CCTV footage, it was found that some vehicles were missing and stolen in Taunggyi City, and the police chased and arrested the car theft group.
The car thieves were arrested 40-year-old U Zaw Moe Hein and 44-year-old U Myint Maung Maung were caught with a vehicle in Ple Lin village in Taunggyi City, on May 27. After further investigation, 36-year-old Ko Aung Ko Min and Ko Taung Aung (aka) Maung Kyaw were arrested again from the house they were renting in Aye Thayar township.
