Penang State Police Chief Datuk Hamzah Ahmed confirmed that four Myanmar nationals have been arrested to investigate those who used obscene words at a fast-food restaurant. Police Colonel Ahmed said that on May 16, four Burmese nationals were arrested at a durin fruit farm in Jalan Sungai Ara area. All of them were tourist visa holders.
The Penang State Police Chief said, “Three of the four arrested have been remanded for trial on June 3. The 67-year-old man was remanded until May 20 and released on police bail,” he said.
That happened last May 14th at past 5:00 p.m. when commenting about ordering at a fast-food restaurant. They were arrested after they was reported to have made obscene comments about the faithful, religious and discrimination.
