On the morning of May 22, Myanmar and Japan signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for cooperation in the development of Football Academy, including youth football development activities.
The MOU was signed by U Zaw Zaw, president of the Myanmar Football Federation, and Tsune yasu Miyamoto, president of the Japan Football Association (JFA). In the agreement, they agreed on football technical development, development of the refereeing, Women’s football development and youth football development.
Currently, the Myanmar U-12 youth football team will be sent to the U-12 International Invitational Youth Tournament to compete, in which will compete Barcelona, Juventus, and Japan J League youth clubs.
