On the 59th birthday of rock singer Lai Phyu on May 19th, he donated alms monks food offerings.
On his 59th birthday including Kyaukphataung Tipitaka Sayadaw, Myinmu Tipitaka Sayadaw U Pyin Nyar Siri Lankara, Tipitaka Dhara U Thayhta Nyarnar Lankara and Tipitaka Dhara U Wisitat Lankara that 6 monks offered alms food and donated robes on May 19th.
He also donated money for the repair of the roof of the three-story monastery, which was built and donated by the family of singer Lay Phyu.
In addition, he have also donated monastery, school, yard and automobiles. In previous years, singer Lay Phyu’s birthday was celebrated and music concerts were also held.
