Organized by the Department of Religious Affairs of Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, a ceremony to praise and present certificates to the 112 religious martyrs who passed the exam at the 76th Tipitakadhara Tipitakakovida Selection Examination was held yesterday morning at 8 o’clock at Maha Pasana Cave on Thiri Mingalar Kaba Aye Hill in Yangon. It is reported that 16 religious martyrs with the title of Tipitakadhatra Tipitakakovida appeared along the 76 years up to the 76th Tipitakadhara Tipitakakovida Selection Examination.
While the religious martyrs who passed at the 76th Tipitakadhara Tipitakakovida Selection Examination were presented with their titles and certificates, Vice President of State Administration Council, Deputy Prime Minister Lt. Gen. Soe Win presented the title badge and certificate to Sayadaw Ashin Pyin Nyar Srilankara, who became 16th religious martyr with the title of Tipitakadhatra Tipitakakovida, from Tipitikanikaya Monastery, Dagon Township in Yangon.
