Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win met Yangon Region cabinet members and district and township officials at the hall of Yangon Region government yesterday morning to talk about regional development and economic sectors.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice-Senior General said: Security awareness must be raised to prevent loopholes in the region and responsible officials are required to prevent unnecessary bullying and blackmailing in accordance with the law.
He continued that concerning with the People’ Military Law, some malicious media wishing to undermine peace and stability spread misinformation against implementation of the People’s Military Service Law to cause public panic. The government has been implementing the law in accordance with the law.
As the Yangon Region is the economic capital of the country, relentless efforts must be made to contribute to the economic development of the country. In doing so, it is necessary not to rely on the budget approved by the government but on measures taken to earn revenues to stand on their own feet, it is reported.
