A group led by a philanthropic monk requested assistance from the fire department and donated drinking water to the villages in Nyaung Oo Township, Mandalay Region.
Charity monk U Oaktama said, “Today at 8 o’clock in the morning, we donated water once to the southern part of the village of Chaung Shae, Taung Zin District, Nyaung Oo Township. If the houses in the village were to donate to the whole village, we would have to donate about 4 tanks, but U Zin was able to donate only one to the southern side.”
Charitable Monk and the Fire Brigade have been continuously donating water to villages in need of drinking water.
